ေျခာက္က်ိပ္ေသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္မ်ားကို သာသနာျပဳ ေစလႊတ္ေတာ္မူပံု

မိဂဒါ၀ုန္ေတာ၌ ပထမ၀ါကပ္ေတာ္မူ၍ ၀ါကြၽတ္ေသာအခါ ဗုဒၶျမတ္စြာမွတပါး ရဟႏာၱ ရဟန္းေတာ္ေပါင္း ၆ က်ိပ္ အတိရွိေလၿပီ. . . ဗုဒၶျမတ္စြာသည္ ထိုေျခာက္က်ိပ္ေသာ ရဟန္းေတာ္တို႕ကို ေခၚေတာ္မူ၍ "ဘိကၡဳတို႕. . . . ငါသည္ လူနတ္တို႕၌ ျဖစ္ေသာ တဏွာရာဂေက်ာ့ကြင္းမွ လြတ္ကင္းေတာ္မူခဲ့ၿပီ ၊ အသင္တို႕လည္း လူနတ္တို႕၌ျဖစ္ေသာ တဏွာ ရာဂေက်ာ့ကြင္းမွ လြတ္ကင္းခဲ့ၾကကုန္ၿပီ. . " ဟု စကားစခ်ီ မိန္႕ေတာ္မူသည္မွာ. .

"သင္တို႕ထိုထိုဤဤ လွည့္လည္ၾကေခ်၊ အစ အလယ္ အဆံုး ၃ပါးလံုး ေကာင္းျမတ္၍ အနက္ အဓိပၸါယ္ ျပည့္စံုေသာ တရားေတာ္မ်ားကို ေဟာၾကေခ် . . . ကိေလသာျမဴနည္းပါး၍ ပညာမ်က္စိအားေကာင္းေသာ သတၱ၀ါမ်ား ရွိၾကေပသည္. . . ထိုသတၱ၀ါတို႕သည္ . တရားမနာရေသာေၾကာင့္ ရသင့္ေသာ တရားထူးမွ ယုတ္ေလ်ာ့ေနၾကသည္ တရားကို သိလြယ္သူေတြ ရွိၾကေပလိမ့္မည္ . ." ဟု မိန္႕ေတာ္မူက သာသနာျပဳ လႊတ္ေတာ္မူသည္. .

BUDDHA SENDING OUT A MISSION OF SIXTY ARAHANTS

After the Buddha had kept his retreat at the Deer Park at Isipatana during the first rainy season, there were fully sixty Arahants besides the Blessed One. He called them and said."Released am I, O Bhikkhu, from fetters both human and divine. Ye also are free from fetters both human and divine. Go ye, now O Bhikkus, and wander for the gain of the many, for the good of the many, for the gain and welfare of gods and men. Preach, O Bhikkus, the doctrine which is glorious in the beginning, glorious in the middle, glorious at the end in spirit and in letter. Proclaim the Holy life altogether perfect and pure. There are beings with a little dust in their eyes, who , not hearing the Doctrine will fall away. There will be thouse who will understand the Doctrine". With this exhortaiton the Buddha despatched His first sixyt disciples in various directions.
